SAIFF continues to be at the forefront of providing training for professionals working in the child protection, out of home care, welfare, education and counselling arenas in issues relating to children’s sexual behaviour and the assessment, treatment and management of children who engage in problematic sexual behaviour.
Consultation
SAIFF provides clinical consultation to individuals, groups and agencies.
Consultation may be provided on a regular basis or on a case basis and may be provided face-to-face, by phone, or by email.

Training
SAIFF regularly runs training workshops in locations across Australia in both the prevention of sexual abuse and healthy sexual development and on the assessment, treatment and management of children and young people who sexually abuse

SAIFF has a number of training programs focusing on a variety of topics and issues relating to sexual abuse including:
- Primary prevention of sexual abuse
- Evaluating and responding to the sexual behaviour of children and adolescents
- Supervision and management of youth who engage in harmful sexual behaviour
- Sibling sexual abuse
- Treatment of youth who engage in problematic sexual behaviour
- Risk Assessment
Any of SAIFFs existing training programs can be run specifically for agencies or a training curriculum can be developed specifically to meet the needs of your staff.
